What to wear for our holiday to Paris? My husband and I are taking our 12 month old son to Disneyland Paris in February this year. I've been told that it is extremely cold at this time of year. For those of you who have been to Paris, please can you tell me how many clothes layers we will need? I especially want to know how many layers my son will need as he'll be in his buggy and won't be keeping himself warm by walking around the park like us. Thanks in advance!

Looking for a cheap-ish hotel near Disneyland Paris? We are driving to South West France for our holiday this year and on the way back want to do a couple of days at Disneyland Paris. There is no way we can afford to stay in one of the Disney Hotels so are looking at something within about 10 miles which offers Bed and Breakfast. Any recommendations? Also - is there any variation on Ticket Prices depending on where you get them or is it the same price as buying from Disney direct? thanks

Disneyland, Paris. has anyone been ? planning to take my son to Disneyland, Paris, for his birthday in september. we've never been to a Disney resort before, and this will be the first time my 5 year old son has been abroad. have any of u been ? what was it like ? are there any tips u can give me to help the holiday go any smoother ? (and please don't say 'don't go' ! the tickets are booked, so that's not up for debate. lol) we'll be staying at the Davey Crockett holiday centre on the edge of Disneyland. (in one of the little log cabins). has anyone stayed in that particular resort ? if so, what were the good / bad things about it ? thanks in advance for your help. I know about the near closure of the park.. but that was back in the 90's, when it was called EuroDisney. it's supposed to have improved since then. thanks for all your helpful answers. i should have mentioned - we're travelling by car, and crossing into france via the channel tunnel. we will be taking the portable dvd player, otherwise i can see that we'll be getting 'are we nearly there yet ?!?' from my son, all the way from england to france ! lol. another thing i should have asked - do they have a foreign exchange facility onsite, or does everyone just use Visa ? from the sounds of food & drink prices, i think we'll be booking some meal vouchers.. i think it's going to work out cheaper than buying things individually. sorry about the thumbs down - nothing to do with me ! i personally don't think anyone deserves a thumbs down on here.
sequia lodge Paris Disneyland? anyone been?? Hi, I have a holiday booked for disney land Paris, staying at the sequia lodge, has anybody stayed there? what the hotel like? any tips please? taking our 2 1/2 y-o-daughter.. is the food as terrible as I have heard? and how far is disneyland to the nearest town/villiage?(thinking we may run out to eat if there is a nearby alternative) also my niece is having 7th birthday "dinner" there.. which is the best restaurant for that?? thanks to anyone who replies!!
Disneyland Paris- buy tickets in advance? hi, my family are going on holiday to France at the end of next week. We plan to travel to Paris to visit Disneyland on one of the days. I was a teenager last time I went there, so I wondered if anybody could tell me if it is better to purchase the tickets in advance or just buy them on the day. When we went to the parks in Florida we bought hopper passes in advance, but in California we just turned up and bought them...what is it like for Paris? Is it more expensive on the day? On the internet it shows the price in £GBP whereas its going to be in Euros when we go, so does that make any difference or is the GBP price going to have been adjusted to account for the rubbish exchange rate? Big queues for buying tickets? Is there a 'quieter' day of the week for going, also? thanks
Disneyland Paris ticket recommendations please!? i have booked a holiday for me and my family to France in June! I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old and was planning on booking us some tickets for Disneyland Paris! was just wanting some advice on which ticket you think would be suitable. ive looked at the options and theres a 1 day park pass or a 2 day hopper pass? Has anybody taken their toddlers to the resort and if so what do you recommend, is it better to get a hopper pass or just stick to the park pass? I'm abit clueless sorry!! there are other options for 3, 4 and 5 day passes aswell but we're only going for 7 days so thought maybe a 1 or 2 day pass would probably be suitable?

Disneyland Paris? I have just booked a holiday to Disneyland for May. I booked with Ryanair because it was much cheaper than Aer Lingus. Only problem is we are flying to Beauvais. Does anybody know if there is a direct way to go from Beauvais to Disneyland, save doing the treck on the shuttle bus into Paris and then get the train to Disney! If anybody knows can you please tell me how long it takes and how much it will cost!
Disneyland resort Paris shares? I want to invest in some shares (20 to be exact) for dlrp so I can qualify for the share holders club; for discounts on holidays. (we are BIG dlrp fans and have regular holidays there so this would save us a lot of money! especially when we start a family) Really what I want to know is .... Is it the best time to invest or even if it is worth it at all? I know that they are in debt but with the opening of the 3rd gate(2012?) this surely would give it a boost?

Teenage Holiday, With friends, to disneyland? Hiya Me and my friends have been discussing what we want to do when we leave high school, which will be next year, and all three of us want to go to college, but i was thinking, what should we do in our gap of the summer hols, before the college term will start? And i had an idea, Disneyland Paris. 2 of us have been before, I've been and one of my other friends have been with her dad (many times) and i was thinking, its perfect for a holiday, its enclosed, has on-site hotels and dosnt need us to drive around (at the time of this holiday, I, being the oldest, will be 16, thus too young to drive). And i'm not relying completely on my parents, me and my friends all have savings accounts, and we can dip into those for money. In england, GCSE "presents" are given often when the son/daughter does well in said exams, (which i have no doubt that i will, predicted A* for english, music, and r.e, the rest B's, C's, possibly a D for maths- not my strong point) which pretty much sets me for the trip, so its not like im relying completely on my parents, my friends included. I am 15 now, but at the time of the summer holidays, i will be 16, and a few weeks off being 17, my friends will have turned 16 before i have turned 17, our birthdays running in July, August and September. I am specifically asking parents here, but if anyone else wants to say what age they had a holiday with their friends, thats fine; would you, as a parent, let your child who is 15/16 go to France (i live in england) for a holiday? At disneyland, which is very kid friendly, and in the next country. thanks in advance for your answers x My friend takes GCSE French and me and my other friend both had compulsory French for 3 years, so we know the basics, but it is EuroDisney, so its not essential :)

planning on going to disneyland orlando next october with 4 kids? have been doing some research but not sure about everything. Where is the best place to stay thats near the parks i have a brochure and hotels at lake buena vista are only a mile from the parks where international drive is a bit far off but mostly people recommend it. We wont be hiring a car because the holiday will cost us enough as it is, some hotels say free schedule buses to parks but others dont say anything, and is eating out cheap, anyone been to paris as well which would you prefer. to all the people dont no what i mean its disneyworld florida thanks for replies was talking to some one last night who had been twice 1 with car hire 1 without he said it was hard walking everywhere in the heat and it would be best to hire a car i think, might stay in villa or holiday home.

Arriving Paris at 10.20pm on Christmas Eve. Arrange transfers or find my way to hotel? This will be my first trip to Paris with my hubby. We would most likely be flying in from Venice via Ryanair at Beauvais Airport, at approximate 10.30pm. What i am wondering if we should arrange transfer to the hotel or attempt to find our way (trains?). Navigating at night in a foreign place seems daunting. Any advice? And.. we're thinking of going to Disneyland the next day - Christmas Day! As we reckon that most places would be close on a public holiday. How true is that? What would you suggest? Thanks a bunch!

is portaventura theme park any good for kids under 1 metre tall? we are on the verge of booking a holiday to port aventura in september as we have already to been to disneyland paris twice so thought it would be a nice change. but ive just seen a list of height restrictions and there are no rides from the looks of it that have no height restrictions and most are 1.1 or 1.2 metres to go on. my youngest two boys are 1 and 3 years old and my 3 year old is only 90cm so is there anything there for them to do and any rides for them? thanks

Can someone please translate this for me into Spanish? I like holidays. In 2005 and 206 i went to Disneyland Resort Paris. In 2005 i went in october for Halloween. the weather was cold but hot enough to wear a jumper. i went there by train. In 2006, i went there for Christmas. The weather was cold but i had great fun. I went there by aeroplane and bus. In october this year i went to Turkey. The weather was very warm and i swam in the sea and in the pools. I also went in the waterpark. In the future, i would like to visit New Zealand, Canada and Lapland. At the moment, me and my family have been to France twice and Turkey once. Please can only Spanish people that can obviously speak English too translate this please, no just English people on translating websites!!! Oh, and please add any missing pieces, brush it up as bt, add connectives or whatever!!!! Thank you ever so much!!!!
