Which are good Orlando theme parks to visit? I am planning to go to Orlando in Sept long weekend. I would be staying in Orlando for 3 days. Considering the fact that I have a two and half year old daughter and a wife who is afraid of huge rides which would be the theme parks that I should be visiting?
What would be good Orlando theme parks to visit? We are visiting orlando in August, and not sure which theme parks would be good. There are 6 kids, 9 year old girl, 13 year old girls, 16 year old girl, 18 year old girl, and 17 year old boy. we want to hit one of the wterparks as well.
What Orlando theme parks would a thrill-ride lover who is also obese be able to enjoy? I am working on losing weight, but still have quite a way to go... I don't remember ever seeing anyone have a problem riding anything at DisneyWorld, but I haven't been in 10 years! I had to get off the roller coaster at Six Flags because the belt wouldn't clip... I want to be able to enjoy a vacation in Orlando with my husband and kids this December.
Can I fit into the rides at Orlando theme parks? I am going to Orlando Florida (first time) and I am a plus size girl (size 24/26) 5'3" We are planning on going to Disney World, Seaworld, Busch Gardens, and aquatica. I am worried I won't be able to fit on the rides, and would be really embarassed if I tried and failed. Does any one know what rides are plus size friendly? And/or which ones I should avoid. Thanks!
Orlando theme parks on the weekend? I am planning a trip to Orlando for the end of April/early May. I want to spend 4 days at the theme parks in Orlando and also do a cruise. Right now I am thinking of taking a 4 night mid-week cruise out of Port Canavaral to the Bahamas. The only problem I see with this is that this leaves me to explore the Orlando theme parks on the weekend before and after my cruise, since the cruise is from Monday to Friday. There is another cruise option where you can go over the weekend (so then I could go to the theme parks during the week), but it is one night less in length and it is about $100 more per person! I'm wondering if there is a big difference in theme park busyness at this time of year between weekdays and weekends. I plan to go to Disneyworld (Magic Kingdom), Seaworld, Universal Studios, and Typhoon Lagoon. Is it worth it for me to switch my cruise to avoid lineups? Or is the difference between weekdays and weekends not that much that time of year? Thank You!!!
What tickets should i get for Orlando Theme Parks? I intend going to Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios in December 2008, I will be there for 2 weeks. Advise me on what tickets or combination of tickets should i get that will cover all the parks and be the cheapest.
What is fun to do at Orlando than just Theme Parks? I am going to Orlando. I already am planning to go to theme parks. But I want to know if there is anything that is fun to do besides theme parks in Orlando? Just to have fun "in between" theme parks, so to say.
Going to Orlando/Disney theme parks with bf that suffers from Motion Sickness? I LOVE theme parks and rides but my bf is like the opposite which is annoying, he only likes the little rides that don't move so much because of his motion sickness. What rides could someone with motion sickness be able to go on in Orlando/Disney? What would be bad to go on? What would help him not feel sick on rides? I don't want to be the only one going on the rides, lol. It's so unfair he's like this and it's one of my favourite things too!
what can a 4 year old NOT go on in orlando theme parks? I havent been there in about 5 years and my child will be 4 next year when i plan to go so i was wondering if anyone knows what rides she WONT be able to get on. i know she will be old enough for peter pan, small world, them little rides and i know she will be too young for rollercoasters but for rides like, men in black, twister, spiderman 3d etc what do you think?
Which Orlando theme parks are the best? Hi Everyone, My fiance and I will be honeymooning in South Florida for a week in July. We can take a day trip to Orlando, and would like to go to one of the theme parks, but since we can only choose ONE, we want to make sure we make the right decision. It will only be the two of us, and we aren't necessarily looking for the best roller coaster -- just a fun day. We only know that we will not be going to the Magic Kingdom because I have been there before and it wasn't the greatest. PLEASE TELL ME WHY YOU LIKE THE PARK YOU CHOSE, RATHER THAN JUST LISTING IT!
What to do in Orlando area (besides theme parks) with kids baby-11 years old? Considering taking kids- will be 11, 3 and 9 months or so- down to Orlando next March or April for vacation- what are great things to do in the area (we would rent a car) besides Disney/Universal? We might go for 2 or 3 days to the theme parks, but I couldn't stand to do it all week! Ideas? Some off the beaten path fun stops?
Orlando Theme Parks - Need some tickets at a good price? How can I get a discounted them park ticket without having to listen to a time share presentation.. Trying to get Disney or Universal.. But will take a good ticket to SeaWorld.. is there anything to do for a cheap price in Orlando?
Are orlando theme parks open all year round? were planning on taking a holiday there... i was wandering if the theme parks, disneyworld, universal busch gardens etc... are open all year round or just in the hot busy summer months??
Which orlando theme parks to go to? my family and i are traveling to florida in a few months and we have no idea which theme parks to go to. we usually go to 2 parks each trip. the choices are magic kingdom, animal kingdom, epcot, hollywood studios, blizzard beach, typhoon lagoon, univeral studios or islands of adventure. we have been to all of these places besides blizzard beach but we dont mind going to a park more then once so we are looking for a park good for the whole family, has alot of rides and a TON of fun!!!! tell me your favorite two parks and why.
What are some good family deals for Orlando, FL Theme Parks? i'm going on a week long trip to Orlando for the 1st time in May (13th-19th) and we're trying to get a good deal on Orlando park tickets. for 3 of those days, we're looking at going to Disney World (probably Magic Kingdom), Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure... but not pay those high gate prices everytime... there's gotta be a package or something for families out there... and then i know IOA isn't for small children so we need the option to pick and choose. my mother and step-dad probably will only attend the day we plan to go to Disney, and lounge at our resort (Westgate) while we seek thrills the other days... ...so anybody know any deals that won't put a dent in our pockets? much appreciated. *by the way, the seven people traveling w/ me so far: me (age 19) and my twin and 16 year old cousin; my nephews (5 and 2) and niece (3); my mother and step-father.
What other fun things are there to do in the Orlando area, besides the theme parks? My boyfriend and I will be going down to Orlando, Fl. in April (hopefully) and will be visiting Disney, Seaworld, and Universal already. Wanted to know, besides other theme parks that would be worth checking out. Any cool places to eat, beaches, etc... We're both in our 20's and it'll be our first trip out to Florida and I just want to make it really speacial. Thank you.
How many theme parks does Universal Orlando has? I was wondering about the theme parks that Universal Orlando has. Like in Disney they have MAGIC KINGDOM, ANIMAL KINGDOM, EPCOT and etc. and you pay separately for each. So, how many theme parks does Universal has and their name? Which one is the best?
Best places to visit in Orlando apart from theme parks? Hi there I was wondering what the best places for entertainment for a family of four would be in Orlando. We've done the theme parks before but now we are looking for other attractions for our holiday. Any answers would be truly grateful as we leave next week. Thank you
What should we do in Orlando other than theme parks? We arrive in Orlando at 11 am and can't check into our Kissimmee accommodations until 4PM. Any suggestions what a group of adults can do to kill 5 hours? I imagine we'll be somewhat dragging due to waking before 4 am so we won't want to walk around a park. Thank you everyone for your suggestions. We can't get into accommodations early, I've already asked. The dinner theaters don't have performances those times, but I'll check out Downtown Disney and the springs/parks as possible time-killers.
What are the best theme parks in Orlando Florida? i am going to Orlando - will be there for 9 days but with travel days i will only have 7days i am 23 travelling with my family (ages ranging from 16 upwards) what are the best parks and is it cheaper to buy yoru tickets when you get over to Orlando or to buy them on line before you go? thanks.......
What is there to do in Orlando aside from the theme parks? My husband and I will be in Orlando for three days and we don't plan to visit a theme park. Any suggestions??? We've been to the theme parks several times already. We will be in town for a conference but have the day to ourselves on Sunday.....
What to see in Orlando other than the theme parks? My daughter and I are going to Orlando in a couple of weeks. Most of the time we're going to be there, everything is very structured and the itinerary is very strict (she's cheering at the Capital One Bowl so they need to know where everyone is at all times). However, she and I are staying for a couple extra days by ourselves and I'm curious as to out-of-the-way and lesser known spots to visit. We're on a budget so nothing extremely expensive but we're already doing the theme parks with the All American people so we're looking for something a little less populated when we're on our own. Also.... any inexpensive restaurants worth checking out at Universal or MGM Studios as well as in Orlando when we're there by ourselves? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
Beyond theme Parks at Orlando - What else can we do ? Hi I'm traveling to Orlando with my three and half yr old so we are visiting just Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom & MGM for 4 days. We do have boating at our resort but we still have 3 more days to spend - looking for ideas. Other than Kennedy Space center and Gator land what other non-theme park attractions/activities do we have there ? I heard about Disney Downtown and Disney Quest - Can you advise what are the attractions there and how we can spend time there ? Other suggestions are most welcome, many Thanks

Going to Orlando theme parks in January... good idea? For my birthday I am going to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, MGM, Epcot, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure with my friends. We will be there from January 18-21. Does anybody know if the parks will be super crowded at that time?
Orlando and Central Florida area without theme parks? All the guide books available on Orlando and the Central Florida area pretty much exclusively are written with the idea in mind that the only reason you're visiting Orlando is to go to theme parks. That may be true of most visitors, but as the times get nearer, I'm starting to go more and more off the idea of standing in endless lines in the boiling sun all day waiting for a 5 min ride on a roller coaster. So, can anyone suggest interesting things to do in Orlando and Central Florida without theme parks? And also, where are the best shopping locations? Thanks
Is it better to buy Orlando theme park tickets in advance ? A colleague of mine will be travelling to Orlando next week with his wife and two young children. Would he be better buying his theme park / attraction tickets in advance from the UK or waiting and purchasing in the US ? The exchange rate is very good at the moment ($2 = £1) and I think he'd be better buying whilst there. Also, I remember when I was in Hollywood there were all sorts of flyers around offering discounts on entry to Universal Studios - will it be the same in Orlando ? Any advice appreciated
I am trying to decide on a Orlando Hotel, going to all the theme parks? I plan on going to Orlando, but we are not going to just ONE park, like Disney World. We are going to Disney World, Universal/Island of Adventure, Seaworld, & Busch Gardens. Would it benefit me any to stay at a partner hotel for one of the theme parks? Or would I actually save more money staying at a non-resort, non partner hotel?
Any suggests of what to do in Orlando besides theme parks? Going with my family to Orlando next month for 2 weeks, yet the problem is, they all hate theme parks, and the stresses and waiting in lines, etc, that involves. I know, if you don't like theme parks, Orlando probably wasn't the wisest choice but I assumed that it had more going for it than theme parks. After doing some research, it appears that Orlando is based around theme parks and other similar tourist attractions and has little else going for it, other than resonabely sided shopping malls that are nothing special and can be found anywhere else in the world. So, is there anything interesting to do other than theme parks, or should we drive to another area, as we only have flight booked, not accomodation, and we're hiring a car. Where would you suggest going to instead? Thanks Lol, you don't know what hiring a car means? Some Americans really don't understand common use of the English language.
Where can I find cheap tickets for theme parks in Orlando, FL? We will go to Orlando in March, and I'm looking for cheap tickets for theme parks. Is there any information I missed? Can I really get a such wonderful deal on this website?

Theme Parks to visit: Adventure Island, Busch Gardens, Epcot, Islands of Adventure, Kennedy Space Center, MGM Studios, Pleasure Island (nightlife), Seaworld, Universal Studios, Wet 'n Wild, Blizzard beach or typhoon lagoon (which of these two is best?)
