Today is the last day for stimulus direct deposit, has anyone received theres today?

Im not sure whether I amr receiving DD or Mailed check but has anyone received there DD yet today? May 16, 2008?

got mine a while ago. No problems.
the IRS changed up the dates.. Now, they are saying the checks will be mailed BY May 16 and you will receive yours a few days later.. Should come maybe tomorrow or next week
I still havent gotten mine and my SS ends with 38, so i dont know whats going on. My boyfriend got his and hes 68! go figure.
Got mine today but it was $600 less than what I was expecting. I filed jointly, w 3 children, so I was expecting $2100 but only got $1500
Today is not the last day for direct deposit - those who didn't have their return filed and accepted by the IRS by April 15 will be on a different schedule than those who did. It depends on how you received your original refund, if any. If you went to a tax preparation company and used any of their bank products, your refund is treated as a paper check and not a direct deposit, even if that's how you had your refund originally disbursed.

JLynn, yours may have been lower than expected, at least you and your husbands portion (the $1200 for married filing joint return) if you made little income. The amount is UP TO $1200 not a guarentee, this is the case for me and my husband too. My guess is you and your husband got a total of $600, and then the children got a total of $900, thus, the $1500. My husband and I are getting the same only with 2 children. Just thought I would clear that up.

I used taxactonline dot com for my tax return. I foolishly had the fee deducted from my refund, so I will not get the stimulus check till July. My Tax refund was direct deposit, but apparently the stimulus check will be a paper check sent in July. There was no information that this would happen, shame on you taxactonline dot com.
