If u have hearing symptons, then do u have to get surgery or hearing aids?

Please tell me quick. I am worried if the ear doctor or whatevher will put me under surgery or give me an instrument called hearing aids. I frequently ask to repeat questions, and when someone is talking behind me for example the left side, I would think they r behind the right side. When my friend talks really fast, I can't hear her well, I can just hear blobs from her. Please, I will have to know quick.

Probably hearing aids,and don't get upset.In this day and age they have hearing aids that others can't see there so small.NO you don't need them to repeat,or you say WHAT? you talk normal,and hear normal.In the shower you wear a shower cap to cover your ears.you sleep with them in.you will live a normal life DO YOU FEAL BETTER NOW?
2. Hi, I know what you are going thru I sometime get ear infection and that happens to I loss my hearing for a bit. Now my son had ear infection since he was a baby, he has had 4 tubes in his ear to drain the fluid that is in his ear. When the fluid is really back up he can not hear that well and the same thing that is happening to you happens to him. Just have you ENT(Ear, Throat, Nose Doctor) check you and tell you if you have a ear infection or if you have fluid accumulate in the back of your ear drum. But all this year the doctor never have said that he needs a hear Aid. Good Luck
3. Well first you have to see if you have hearing loss and if you do what is the best way of treating it so don't worry till you get to that step. If you do end with a hearingaid, no big deal lot's of people including me and lot's of people of any age get them. It is your responsiblity to be able to hear and understand people if they are talking to you. So look at hearing aids like glasses it just happens and move on. Remeber you can allways take them off.
