Finally Today

What are some concerns of young americans today?

Well, I have to write a speech about the concerns of young americans today for hw? Whata re some concerns might young americans have today? Please make them logical and please explain why.

1. Hmm when you say young, do you mean anywhere from being a kid to a teen? Or do you mean just little kids? Well, I'd say today a lot of the youth worry about becoming overweight. Image is big and, to be quite honest, it's all about looks in today's society. It's a shame.
2. Relationships. Friends. Everyones to worried about being perfect to show everyone how good they are. Also students are being less and less educated because of poverty. Students are afraid to go to school looking all dirty because parents cant afford supplies.
3. I worry about the conditions of the world. The way that we all are, its so scary now a days just to step outside of your door and what my purpose in life is because thats something I haven't quite figured out yet.
4. I'm 24 so hopefully I can still be considered a "young american." The 2 most concerning things for me without a shadow of a doubt, and I think about these all the time: 1. Politics in D.C. Current polititians are to care far to much about their legacy and making a name for themselves. They have strayed far far far from the original interpretations of the Constitution. Government was never intended to take the power for us as in making choices "with our best interests in mind." I mean they force you to do things that you shouldn't have to do. Look at the new cervical cancer vaccine, Texas is forcing 11 year old girls to get it!!! What ever happened to choices?! Forcing you to wear seat belts!!! If I die from not having a seat belt on, its my choice!!! You can't buy anything or sell anything without paying the man!!! Guess where all that money goes. To funds that help people in other countries, healthcare to people that don't work, welfare, oil, electric companies, hospital CEO's!!!, school principals, federal "officials." There are so many places the money goes nobody can keep track. They won't even allow to homosexual people have a civil union because it conflicts with the politicians political beliefs!!! Who the hell cares!!! As long as your not inflicting physical harm on someone you should be able to make your own choices that suite you in whatever many you so desire. POLITICS!!! 2: National Debt: As mentioned before, who do you think is going to have to pay china back? Exactly! Us and our children. Social Security? who's the dumbass that thought that one up? Our debt is mounting and its not going down no matter how much the president now and in the future sugar coat it. Until we stop spending money on things we don't need like our military we'll continue to rack up the credit cards and only pay the minimum due. Sorry if this seems like a lot of jibber jabber but its frustrating when america only allows 2 trains of thought, (R) & (D).
