want to know hearing aids compatible with telephones?

My colleague has an after effect of medicines he is in need of hearing aids that are compatible with telephones. He can listen to mobile phones clearly but has requested me to find if there is any hearind aid available in any country through which he can hear landline calls clearly? Thanks!

1. There is a number of advertised hearing aids and hearing aid friendly phones for sale. How well do they work depends on the user and the phone and the hearing aid. Most land line phones can be HAC and you will want a t-Coil or telephone switch on the hearing aid. Behind the ears are prefer ed style. The user needs to hold the phone near the hearing aid in area we call "the sweet spot" and also remember to hold the phone near the microphones. Unfortunately there is few good phones so the user must try different phones and emphasis when selecting a hearing aid that it must work with the phone. It is a case of trial and and error. Just remember to try and insure that you have a money back policy should it not work
