  1. well pics.
  2. Last year Disneyland started "HalloweenTime" during the month of October. It was the first year so it was smaller than the Toyko and Paris versions but it was more than they have done in the past. It appeared to be very popular so I can imagine that they will be doing it again and adding more stuff this year. Also, Disney's California Adventure had Special Event nights called Micky's Halloween Treat that is also very popular. But it is also too early to know the exact nights in October they will be, but there should be about 8-10 nights during the month. It's a bit early now but starting around late summer you can check the Disneyland web site at http://www.disneyland.com for more details.
  3. The California Disneyland is the oldest and smallest of the Disney parks. Tokyo and Paris are much newer and as such have been build much better - in my opinion the Paris Disneyland is by far the most beautiful of all the Disneylands. This doesn't mean the California Disneyland isn't very beautiful as well. I especially love the way Haunted Mansion is always decorated with Nightmare After Christmas theming. So, you'd probably love it but you should check out pictures of the California park before going - it doesn't look like the Paris and Tokyo parks.
  4. Disneyland at anytime. And don't forget that Disneylnd cali is the original. The original is always the best.
  5. You know, Disneyland Resort just barely started to get REALLY into Halloween with decorating and the theme and such just this past year. I think it's long overdue! I worked at Disneyland for 4 years (2000-2004) and there were a few little things they'd do around Halloween, but it wasn't a big themed celebration the way I hear it is at the resorts in France and Japan. Mickey's Halloween Treat has been going on for a few years at least, and I'd like to take my daughter to that this year or next year maybe. But yeah, it was decorated really cute this year...all the pumpkins down Main Street and a huge lit-up pumpkin, and the Mickey's face in front (that's usually made up of flowers) was done all up in pumpkins...very cute. =) Although the decorating was really mostly just there on Main Street, and then there was some in New Orleans Square (mainly for Haunted Mansion's annual Nightmare Before Christmas overlay). I hope it's an even bigger event this year and each year to come. =)
  6. its great and all but there are soooooooooo many people
  7. It is - it is a lot of fun. My favorite attraction at that time is the Haunted Mansion. They really go all out with Halloween decor there! Keep in mind that this year will be extra crowded around Halloween. Utah, Idaho and a few other states will be having their educational seminar days for grade school and high school kids statewide. LOTS of families visit Disneyland (since it is closer to these states than Disney World) this week and this year, it falls right on Halloween weekend. So be prepared for heavy heavy crowds. If you would like help planning for your next trip or if you would just like to read up on some fun tips and ideas that are updated monthly, visit my Disney Vacation Services My space page, at: http://www.myspace.com/disneymickeyvacation Have a great time!
  8. I visited Disneyland in California once as a teenager, but not on Halloween, however, a co-worker of mine went to Disney world in Florida over the holiday, just a few years ago, & they celebrate it there. She said they have a parade of all the "evil" disney caractors! So if FL does it I am sure CA does.
