- That's what I keep sayin'! Milk is for babies! You don't see many animals drink milk when they are adults. If you look at the research, Asians don't have as much cancer issues (although they do get cancer) compared to westerners. That's because we get our calcium from vegetables. A source that has as much if not more calcium than milk! I think the milk industry has been telling Americans that it's ok to consume like babies. Which explains why we have so much obesity in America. We're eating like babies! So now we're looking like overgrown ones too!
- This isn't a question it's a rant. From its title, it's clearly a rant from someone lucky enough not to have had breast cancer, since it's always those who haven't had cancer (and lately usually teenagers for some reason) who come on here preaching to the rest of us about how we got it. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I had been vegan (ie no dairy, so no milk at all) for 8 years.Avoiding dairy didn't stop me getting breast cancer, it didn't cure me and I'm sure as hell not relying on it to stop recurrences or metastases. Learn some facts about cancer before you come on the cancer forum shouting to people who have had cancer about how they got it. If dairy was the cause of breast cancer I'd still have two breasts.
- Are you asking a question or on a rant? If you look around enough you can always find a link between some food and cancer.
- You say there are three reliable sources of infomation regarding milk. I trust one of them is the Good Book, which states in Proverbs 27 v 27 "...and you shall have goats milk enough for your food, for the food of your household and for the maintenance of your maidens." This support group recommends it to their cancer recoverers.
