Which Airport should we fly into for a Disneyland vacation?
We are planning a trip to Disneyland for our family this summer. Which airport is most convenient for this? We don't plan to rent a car, just want a shuttle over to the hotel in Anaheim. Thanks for your help~

- Orange County. I think it's John Wayne Airport.
- LOL thats a stupid question (no offense sorry). The nearest is LAX international, go there its like 20 minutes drive to disney land. LAX is the 5th busiest international airport. outside the airport are tons and tons of taxis, so you wont have a problem getting a ride to your hotel. enjoy your stay at disney land...its a great once in a life time experience =] Ps: I do not know any more airports near disney land. so LAX is probobly the best airport to take.
- If you should arrive at LAX there would be a shuttle to your hotel around DIsneyland. John Wayne airport is actually closer to Anaheim they should also have a shuttle. But you might want to check with your hotel about shuttle service.
- John Wayne Airport (Orange County) is the closet airport to Disneyland, and they should have airport shuttles to your hotel. LAX is alot farther north, in a different county, and a terrible airport to get in & out of...avoid LAX at all costs!
- Max, when you don't know what you are talking about, you come across looking like a dope. First, it's not a stupid question. Second, you give the WRONG answer. John Wayne/SNA/Orange County airport is the closest. 15 miles from Disneyland instead of 35. DUH!
- Well put, Obviousman! John Wayne is the closest airport.
- The closest is Orange County (John Wayne) Airport, code SNA,but the lowest airfare would probably be to LAX. The problem with LAX is that it's about a 40 mile trip to Disneyland, and any airfare savings are eaten up by the additional shuttle fare. Let me take a wild guess, you're coming from the Portland area.
- John Wayne (Orange County) SOOO much more relaxing and MUCH closer than LAX.
