  1. Find a hotel near the park, within walking distance preferably. I stayed at the Tropicana, across from the Main Gate on Harbour Blvd, while others have stayed at the Candy Cane Inn (about a 10 minute walk away). Why? Several reasons: Quick access to your room for afternoon naps, most hotels offer in-room refrigerators and maybe microwaves (the Tropicana did), you park on the hotel property and don't have to pay for Disney parking. Take some food and water with you into the park, and eat outside the park (off Disney property, like at Dennys or something). This will save you tons of money, and you'll be better equipped to choose which in-park snacks or meals you might like. Right now thru April Adults pay the kids price on 3-day or longer park-hopper passes. On a 3-day pass that saves you $41! In order to see all that you want with minimal crowds, I would suggest at least one day fall on a weekday. Crowds are thinner then. And since right now if the off-season, there's hardly any waiting in line. You may want to map out a game plan of where to go and what you want to see. Some attractions are closed right now (Haunted Mansion is closed until mid March, and Pirates of the Carribean closes mid-March through June). Parades, fireworks and other entertainment are often scheduled to happen only on the weekends.
  2. one could be if you are a californian. residents get to go to two park on two SEPERATE days for the price of one park.
