Disney meal plans? Does anyone know how they work? They can be purchased w/ Disneyland Vacation trips.?

1. You can purchase a Disneyland meal plan as part of a hotel/travel package. Even if you use it wisely, it is barly worth it. You get vouchers, and you do not get cash back. So you would have to use over the voucher amount for each purchase or you lose any remainder. You will generally be better off if you just go on your own and not feel locked into the vouchers. For example the Adult meal plan is about $87 With that you get $50 in vouchers; a Character breakfast will be around $30, and the Breakfast in the park will be about $10. So using the plan to its full advantage you save about $3.
2. I don't think they are quite worth it. Especially if you are watching what you eat at all, better to pick and choose as you go.
