Can someone tell me what theme parks in Orlando are the best for adults?
I have been to Orlando many times but have not been in some years. Does anyone know what parks gives you the most for you money with lots of rides but not so much coasters and/or kids rides? I pretty much know what Universial has. Anything else?

- All Disney parks are marketed for adults as well as children. A good Disney park, though, is Epcot. No flashy rides except GM Test Track. The world showcase providese lots of educational opputunities, but also a chance to broaden your horizons. As far as avoiding kids, or "kids rides" that'll be impossible to find in a theme park setting. Theme parks are marketed towards children anyway.
- I've been to most of the theme parks in or near Orlando. One of my favorites which isn't very expensive and just for kids is FANTASY OF FLIGHT. This is an air museum/airport located in Polk City just off I-4 about 15 miles west of Orlando. Admission is about $25 per person and there's lots to see .... if you like airplanes. They have airplanes from WWI and WWII, a flying boat, and a restaurant that looks like it belongs in the movie PEARL HARBOR. They show you how airplanes are restored in a wood shop and they even have flying exhibitions. It only takes one afternoon to see it and there are even flight simulators. Really a thrilling experience! There is a souvenir shop that has anything that can have airplanes on it---mouse pads, cell phone covers, t-shirts, key chains.....anything! Bring about $40 per person and you'll have fun!
- My favorite park is Epcot. Epcot has different areas designated for a selection of "countries". It is awesome because you can try out all kinds of different food (Moroccan, Japanese, Italian, French, Mexican, Chinese, English, Canadian, etc.) all in one day! The food is really quite good. You can also buy unique things that are imported from the countries. The people who work in the countries are even from the "country" they work at in the park. At the end of the day, there is a very nice fireworks display. There are not, however, a ton of rides. I think where the rides go, the kids go. Hehe.
- I like disney myself, epcot is cool for adults, lots of cool rides but lots of sight seeing stuff too. I like all the disney parks myself...p.s. try disney quest at downtown disney...gamers paradise...lots of kids but lots of adults too....6 floors of madness...lol, it's great.
- We agree with all the answers you have been given so far. All the parks are family orientated through out Orlando...take a look at this family run site, particularly the theme park page which gives you that personal touch and updated info http://www.sunkissed-orlando-holidays.com/theme-parks.html
- Universal Studios and Epcot
- Sorry...but Universal is the answer for the best adult theme parks. Islands of Adventure has the best rides of all of them...and what i call universal regular is always a great day without kids.
- All disney parks are steared for both adults and kids. I love them all personally. Epcot has a lot of stuff for adults. They have futuristic stuff, and you can explore different countries. MGM has rides as well as lots of good shows. Animal Kingdoms deals mainly with the Animals but they have rides also. Magic Kingdom is a must. Go to downtown disney it is great for adults.
- Epcot is geared more to the adult aged guests.
- wet n wild. is a water park.
- If you are looking for a park that is more adult oriented then I would suggest Epcot. There are a lot of things geared towards kids there, but it has more of a grown up feel then the Magic Kingdom, MGM Studios, and Animal Kingdom Parks. In Future World, there are tons of rides that you and your other can ride like Soarin, Mission Space, Test Track, Universe of Energy with Ellen DeGeneres....these are mild rides except for Mission Space unless you ride the tame side, the wild side can make you feel sick at times. Then there is the World Showcase that has I believe 11 countries from around the world, that each has it's unique atmosphere about them. In each country you can either ride boat rides talking about the country and it's history or watch a movie about it too. There are so many wonderful restaurants that you can dine at in the World Showcase, if you like to try something new and don't want the typical American fare, then try one of these....the best restaurant in the World Showcase, in my opinion, would be the Le Cellier in Canada, if you like steaks then go there, if not then Le Chefs in France is very good as well. Also, a fun thing to do in World Showcase is to "drink around the world" which is where you can buy beers at the different countries, each has it's own flavor...some are good and some are, well, I would rather do with out. If you don't like beer and prefer wine instead, then you can do the same with that too. Lastly, there are a ton of shops that are so quaint where you can buy merchandise that you can only get in that country. Epcot is my husband and my favorite park in Disney, with Magic Kingdom at a very close second. Hope this answers your question.
- Go to the Disney parks. They have everything at the parks from cool rides, thrill rides, excellent restaurants, great shows, and all for less money than people think. I love going to Disney, I went there on my honeymoon 14 years ago and now love taking the family. When we get back we start planning our next trip. I would suggest any of the Disney parks for any adult. For tons of more info go to the Disney website, I put the link below. There is a description there of every ride, attraction, show and restaurant. Also, check out the disboards. The disboards is a free message board website that is all about going to WDW. You can get resort reviews, dining reviews, tips for avoiding crowds, trip reports and much more. I put that link below too. Hope this helps, have a great trip!
- MGM studios! you can catch up on fun shows and stunt shows! The best place ever in Disney!Well,no....i like all of them
- Magic Kingdom: I'd skip this one, as most rides are aimed at little kids. If you want to, though, Space, Splash and Thunder Mountains are all fun to do, even at your age. Epcot: I rarely see little kids there, so basically, the whole park is aimed to adults. My favorite rides are Mission: Space (HIGHLY intense), Soarin' (tons of fun) and Test Track (also a lot of fun). Animal Kingdom: It is a lot of fun if you like animals and the outdoors. Be sure to take a Safari ride, and go on Expedition: Everest. MGM Studios: Again, kind of more for adults. Take a Backlot tour through the set of a movie, and go on Tower of Terror or Rockin' Roller Coaster. Be sure to do these at the end of the day, as I went on early in the morning and had to sit out the rest of the day. They really beat you up! Have tons of fun in Disney, it is a great place to go. If you have time, visit Blizzard Beach, a fun water park with scary adult rides. After your day at Blizzard beach, mini-golf at Winterland/Summerland courses right outside the water park. Hope this was helpful!
