  1. Don't miss Sea World. I went there a while back. It was well worth the admission price!
  2. Disney! do Disney...all of it, or at least the theme park part. We didn't care for Universal - unless they have changed their pricing system, anyway. Two parks, seperate passes, extra to visit them both on the same day, and extra to get the fast pass. compare: Disney, parkhopper, whatever it costs these days, what? 80.00 you can go to any or all of the parks and come and go all day. Universal: 80.00 for one park, 110 if you want to go to both (which, by the way, are all in the same place) and another 20 to use the express pass, so you can skip the lines and just know what time your ride is. (included at Disney), so to see the whole thing, per day, is 130 pp. Seaworld is great! If you go, don't miss the Sea Lions and Sea otter show, always a treat! the dolphins and, of course, ths killer whales. Manatees are cool, too, and there's a place where you can feed and pet the dolphins. (I don't think they have a pool where you can actually SWIM with the dolphins. We went to Kennedy, it's almost an hour away. If you are into space exploration, it´s definitely worth it. We only spent about half a day each at MGM and Animal Kingdom, but if your kids are older than about 6, you might want to spend more than that. Don't have any experience with the others. We also went into Old Town in Kissimee. Nice evening thing to do. Plus, they have TONS of overpriced theme dinners, like jousting and a pirate themed place, and stuff like that, and about a hundred mini golf places, each with a different theme. You will certainly have plenty to do!
  3. Definitely fit Disney in for at least 2 days..maybe 2 or 3 parks in that time. Seaworld is nice too. Kennedy Space Center is further out but that is also a nice trip.
  4. 1) Magic Kingdom: LOVE it...it really is the most magical of all the places. I go with kiddos though and am a huge Disney fan. Lot of variety of rides here and totally makes you feel like a little excited kid again. It is a definitely for me. 2) Epcot: Personally I skip this one lately. It has world showcase which is neat to see all the different cultures and it has lots of really neat features...but for me it isn't a must see park that I have to do when I am there. 3) Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest is probably one of the best Disney thrill rides but this park is also more zoo like and closes the earliest. If I was picking a trip this would't be a must do...but would definitely make the the "maybe" list. 4) MGM/Hollywood: I love Tower of Terror so I love this park for that reason. I would say that if you could park hop one of your days...consider starting in Animal Kingdom for half the day then park hop over and finish day in MGM... 5) Universal: I hate it. I skip it. 6) I. of A. I have not been but I LOVE coasters and it is the best coaster/adult rides park in Orlando. So if you are hunting for thrill rides I would give this one a go. 7) Sea World: If you are into sea life it can be nice...but I would call this a maybe. Not that much to do but watch shows that are neat if you are into that. I haven't been in over 10 years whereas I hit disney a few times a year...lol. it just isn't my thing. 8) Aquatica: This looks fun. I have not gone yet but I want to. 9) busch Gardens: I like this park but it is in Tampa and the I4 corridor is a nightmare most of the time to drive. I swear that road is always under construction or has accidents shutting it down...so unless you are going to stay the night on west coast...I don't think it is worth the drive in and out of Orlando. 10) KSC - if one or both of you likes space travel/aviation this is a great trip. You can do the bus tour and all. Most of this is more "informational" than active but the IMAX movies are cool and we go every year (LOL...live here so I go on free Brevard resident weekend!) It isn't worth it if you aren't into the space program at all though. My brother in law would live at the place if he could cause he loves all the stuff so much there but his wife could care less.... 11) Cypress Garden...skip it. It is okay but not a must see for only a 4 day trip.
  5. I am an annual passholder to Universal/IOA and I think if you like thrill rides, IOA would definitely be fun for you. If you are ready for a lot of walking, you could squeeze some attractions from both parks into one day. As far as Disney goes, I would definitely say Epcot and Magic Kingdom should be at the top of your to do list. Sea World is great, too. Four days is not enough time to do it all. I think you should try to visit a few websites and read some trip reports so you can squeeze in what you think you two will like the most. A couple of great places to visit are allears.net and disboards.com. Have fun - and bring your sunscreen, it's already getting hot.
  6. My husband and I go to Universal studios every year. He says it makes him feel like a kid again, and I have to agree. Also we have went to KSC. It is great if it is the day the shuttle is lifting off.
  7. 1.Magic Kingdon - I LIKE IT 2.Epcot - I LIKE IT 3. Animal Kingdom- never been 4.MGM - I LIKE IT 5.Universal studios - I LOVE IT 6.Islands of Adventure - MY FAVORITE 7. Seaworld - I LOVE IT 8.Aquatica - never been 9.Busch gardens - I LOVE IT 10.Kennedy Space Center - never been 11.Cypress Gardens - never been
  8. 1.Magic Kingdom should deffinately be top on your list for the must-do. I love it there! A fair warning, though, it doesn't have a lot of roller coasters or "adult rides." The rides it does have, however, are fun for every age! 2.Epcot is my second favorite Disney park. An awesome theme and a variety of rides... what's not to love? 3. Animal Kingdom is my third favorite Disney park. I wouldn't recommend going if neither of you are animal lovers. The park doesn't have very many rides so I don't think it's worth the price if you don't love animals. The rides it does have, though, are awesome. 4.MGM is, of course, my least favorite Disney Park. Why? Well, while it's still not plentiful in the ride department, pretty much all the rides it does have are "scary" rides. To me, anyways. If the Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror sound like fun to you and your wife - go for it! MGM also has a lot of shows... many of them action-packed. 5.Universal Studios... I don't like it as much as Islands of Adventure but it sure is fun! It has a good assorment of rides and shows. I would deffinately reccomend giving it a visit. 6.Islands of Adventure... even though I like it more than Universal Studios, it may be the other way around for you two, as adults. (Oh, I'm 16, BTW.) This park also has a wide assorment of rides... roller coasters, thrill rides, gentle rides, 3-D rides(well, at least one), and water rides. That's why I like this park... it has it all. Plus, I love the themed areas. 7. Seaworld is usually a must-see for people visiting Orlando. And it's true, it's awesome. I wouldn't reccomend it over the park mentioned above, though. It's up to you! 8.Aquatica... ummmmmmm, I personally LOVE water parks, so this is always a must-do for me. For you guys? I'm not sure if I would pick it over some of the others since you only have four days. There are water parks all over the country, and you don't neccesarily have to go to this one in Orlando. 9.Busch Gardens Africa.... ahhhhh, plenty of coasters for the thrill seekers, and some other rides, as well. Plus they have good food. Oh, and I forgot to mention up in the Magic Kingdom area... if you go, be sure to get a turkey leg! = ) I would reccomend this park if you both like roller coasters. It's large, with plenty to see and do. A great alternative to Animal Kingdom since it has more rides and yet still had the African animal thing going on. lol 10.Kennedy Space Center is pretty cool, I suppose. I was never crazy about it and again, I wouldn't reccomend it over some of the parks on the top of the list. 11.Cypress Gardens is well, to put it plainly, kind of boring. There isn't much to see and do. For a four day trip, I would skip it. Well, that's it! Hope this helps you guys out a little bit! Be sure to check out the websites of every park, too. Have fun! = )
  9. .Magic Kingdon - brilliant day and night 2.Epcot - okay but would not visit again 3. Animal Kingdom - another brilliant day plenty of shade and indoor shows 4.MGM - shows you how the movies are made - high school musical do a pep rally there 5.Universal studios - went but was not impressed think it was because i done disney before and was really really tired but going back to try this again this year. 6.Islands of Adventure- did not get the chance to visit but lots of people rave about the rides 7. Seaworld- fantastic really cool day !!! 8.Aquatica- not been yet but going in july x 9.Busch gardens- another great day if it wasnt for the rain a really good park would visit again 10.Kennedy Space Center-not been 11.Cypress Gardens-not been you will have fun no matter what you decide to do x
  10. magic kingdom animal kingdom MGM(hollywood) Studios and epcot are all part of disney and u can buy tickets 2 all the parks with a reasonable price and they cant defenatly NOT be missed for a bonus get tickets 2 universal studios which is also reasonably priced and u get islands of adventure tickets aswell if u get a certain type of tickets
  11. Kennedy, Seaworld, Busch and then the two Universals..... and the Latest Seaworld water park... We found Disney a rip off unless you want to please the kids... It is overpriced across the board, entrance, food, and mementos..... A real disgrace if you look at the commercial volume and profit they make.... One positive, the characters are awesome.....
  12. if its just with your wife i would have to say you cannot miss out at seaworld. Wonderful shows are there like shamu. if you like the thrills possibly go to busch gardens and especially Epcot.
  13. Magic Kingdom- 10 LOVE IT! Epcot - 8 Cool but not my favorite MGM - 8 It's fun and has an AMAZING night show! 15. If it is just you and your wife, I would recommend: Magic Kingdom Animal Kingdom Islands of Adventure Sea World Busch Gardens I would skip Cypress Gardens. I don't even know what Aquatica is...sorry. Also, skip Kennedy unless there is a launch or you are just into rockets, etc.
