Finally Today

If i started taking the pills on sunday and today is Saturday am i protected?

Today is the 7th day I took the pill. Am i protected today or do i have to wait til tomorrow? I took the pills like 3 days after my period and started on sunday.

2. You are protected. The person who said it takes a month is misinformed. Read your pill information pamplets people!!! You are protected after taking 7 pills, but if you're more comfortable, use a second method of contraception today such as a condom.
3. Yes, you're protected. I read my pamphlet to be sure myself about a week ago. I hate condoms.
