Finally Today

When ABC news airs does it seem as though they are biased about the presidential debate?

Can we just hear the truth from ABC network or should we watch Fox news instead?

Public Comments

  1. You should watch Cartoon Network.
  2. I think we should just watch comedy central. John Stewart seems to have it right.
  3. Maybe ABC doesn't always tell you what you want to hear
  4. yeah, abc is biased towards the truth! that sucks for conservatives!
  5. I think we should all just turn on Disney Channel and watch Hannah Montana instead. CYRUS FOR PRESIDENT
  6. If you are interested in a right-wing analysis and this is the only way you would think things weren't "biased", then yes, Faux News is your only hope. Unfortunately for conservative, reality has a liberal bias.
  7. It's not just ABC and Fox news. It's also the internet, the magazines, newspapers, pretty much all media. The only way to be unbiased is to research on the candidates history and records. Media ALWAYS distorts information regardless what it is. It's the only way to attract attention.
  8. Totally, beyond a doubt.
  9. you should watch cnn for unbiased news
  10. Fun part is the focus group on Fox News all agreed that John McCain did not win the debate. When asked by the commentator in charge of running that focus group who thought McCain won, not a single hand went up.
  11. Hmm.. I'm not sure what you're saying, but if you think Fox is not biased... wow, just .... wow.
  12. Actually Fox is known to be a little biased towards Republicans...
  13. Fox seems to be the only non biased network, I can't even stand to watch the others. Just stick with Fox in my opinion.
  14. Good question, the best way to get the truth is to listen to all the networks and then do the research. Fox News will at least have a Democrat on with every Republican to dispute what they say. Both sides get to speak their mind.
  15. Republicans have more ties to corporate America, including big media. I think some channels are overly sensitive to appeasing their friends that pass laws on their behalf.
  16. All news networks and media in general are biased towards Obama, except Fox.
  17. honestly fox is starting to turn a little liberal bias too. i have lost faith in the media.
  18. ABC is definitely biased. Most of the networks are biased in favor of Barrack Obama. If he gets elected though, they will have a field day tearing him down. That is what they love to do. Fox is biased toward the conservatives. But, on the whole, they are less biased than the liberal media. They, at least try to present both sides of the issue.
  19. No matter how "unbiased" a news source is, whether it is television, newspaper, a news magazine, or a commentator on the radio, there will be some bias to the story. This is just a fact of journalism. For example, the news channels have decided to show the debate versus covering a story on foreign politics, even though they could show that. This indicates that they believe viewers would be more interested in seeing the debates.
  20. What makes you think Fox is not bias. Just because their slogan says "Fair and Balanced" does not mean anything. Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity will talk over guests who disagrees with them. Bill O'Reilly made a big stinking deal about Jamie Lyn Spears teenage pregnancy, but for Palin's teenage pregnant daughter he said it is a family matter and others should stay out of it. Now who is the Pin Head O'Reilly huh!
  21. Ok. All the News Channels have their Candidate and are Biased FOX is Biased they HATE Obama Even if I wasn't an Obama supporter I would still make the following statement: FOX is CRAP Journalism and CRAP Programming PLAIN & SIMPLE EDIT: WIth the Exception of Sunday FOOTBALL
  22. I thought they seemed partial but I only watched the debate, not the analysis. At least they didn't have tickers or other crap down on the bottom like the cable networks do.
  23. (ABC) America's Barak Channel is not biased - they just want Barak to win. Fox isn't successful for nothing - they have the most informed and intelligent rational viewers.
  24. of course...they love Obama for spending tax payers $$$ on fillet mignon and all the other accommodations going to Germany and the middle east !! Katie Curic probally ate most of it !!!
  25. All news channels including Fox news are biased. The only channel to watch without that is CSpan. The talking heads all spin their answers toward the person they want to win. I watch all news just to see both sides of the picture. In the end we have to trust ourselves and what the candidates s say, not what the news spits out at us.
  26. All news networks lean one way or the other even though they say they don't. Media sometimes stinks huh?
  27. They are all liars. Glenn Beck is the only one I trust.
  28. I think Fox News in the most fair and balanced that is if you exclude Hannity. They report the news without all the smiles and giggles about Obama. I swear the mainstream media has an organism every time Obama says or does anything. I have flipped to CNN and they are so proObama it isn't even funny. Obama knew exactly what he was doing last night when he mentioned Fox News in the debate. He said they were against him which is not true - they just give McCain as much time on the air. He is whinning again. The next thing will be calling FN racist because that is his comeback for anything or anyone who is against him. GIVE ME A BREAK!! McCain/Palin 08 COUNTRY FIRST (not self)
  29. Fox is Far from Balanced
  30. How about getting a good cross section? Try Abc, Cnn, Fox, some websites, etc... one good website might be "Factcheck.org"
