Finally Today

Why are so many youth using knives today? Why do they stab innocent people or others?

Could it be that today's youth are just little sissy, chicken livers? They used to use their fists and not KILL. Now they seem to get a thrill in sending others to heaven. I call them slittle babes afraid of their own shadows, like Osama Bin Laden, hiding in a cave and lurking.

  1. stupid and bad parenting jobs.
  2. Life aint fair girl!!!
  3. cause their parents dont discipline them enough. If you think about it , your only talking about black people. HA
  4. They are a bunch of idiots who think they gain power by hurting someone else Sadly most knife crime is in the UK where I live, in the past year there have been 10 knife crime deaths in london alone and all of those cases the person was 18 or younger
  5. You can blame society as whole; video games that glamorize killing; rappers that portary it as cool. When I was a kid, the grease boys put on their hair was the most dangerous thing. Our society is out of control. People are lazy and fat; kids are lazy and fat; people have NO repect for themselves or others and take no responsibility for their actions, always balme someone or something else. More physical punishment would deter crime.
  6. Because the unspoken conduct of villians are not being kept to nowdays......................
  7. i dont have a knife and i only have one friend who does carry one around. i wonder why people have them in the first place but sometimes i feel so scared when i walk past a group of chavs i wish i had some way of protecting myself, so that could be why some people have them, to protect them selves really. :( its so sad i dress in alot of black and big groups of chavs are soo scary ! its unreal ! sometimes i acctually wich i had a knife or somthing on me, its wrong but true :(
  8. because that is what happens if parents dont care enough about their kids wen i was younger i used 2 hate saturdays cos it was family day and we did things a s a family, i used 2 fink it was embarisin....but now i realise that this helped me become a better person
  9. They should be thought other methods, perhaps harakiri.
  10. People carry knives because they are frightened and feel the need for protection. Those who stab others cross the "red mist" line which is VERY, VERY thin. Once you lose it theres no way back. Its not a new thing, I used to carry a stilleto until someone a bit older than me said " do you realise if you pull that then you'll have to use it ?" I dropped it down a drain. Once I pulled a machete on a driver who cut me up and got aggressive. Luckily he got back in his car and gelled. I know I would have used it if he hadn't. Its like upping the ante in poker I suppose, push me and I used to have to be the top nutter, no limits. Now I'm a lot older and ( hopefully ) wiser. What todays youth needs is mentors who have learned from the error of their ways to chat them out of foolishness. By the way, I was brought up in a good, loving home with Christian parents. So in my case how they brought me up had nothing to do with it. I was a mod in a gang, and we used to fight people like budding author ( quote below).
  11. You have to blame the parents as most of the people that carry knives are just kids. I hate to imagine what their kids will turn out like. I am giving you a star for a very topical and serious question as it will get people thinking.
  12. A kid in my school had a gun with him! It scared the S**t out of me when they had the police come get him. Of course, he was in a gang. I am sick and tired of people my own age carrying weapons around like its cool.
  13. They are thickos who don't know any better. We need to bring back the death penalty, pronto.
  14. The world has gone crazy and it is imperative that action is taken to stop knife crime. I honestly believe it is time we returned to caning for thugs found to carrying knives and you may think I am being callous but perhaps trousers down and a good thumping on a bare bum would be both hurtful and demeaning for the culprits. We have to find a way of making these cowards think twice about carrying all sort of weapons and the police will have to institute stop and search procedures and hit known areas hard.
  15. that has been going on forever, just you hear about it more because of the internet and tv news
  16. The thing that really amazes me is that folk think this is all some sort of new development! It's not. I was a Teddy boy , not a rock and roll dancer, a real Teddy boy. I was part of a gang, I carried a cut throat razor, a cosh and a knuckle duster ! This was some time ago, many many years. I enjoyed watching folk move to the other side of the street when they saw me. This was a time when corporal punishment was allowed and encouraged, at 15 years of age I was jailed, yes that is jailed, not some guest house with other 'naughty'children in it! I was flogged, (in the UK ), tied to a gym horse and had my bare ar*e whacked until it bled. That should have done the trick, taught me a lesson? Sorted me out? etc etc. Just the opposite, my fellow inmates thought I was a hero for not screaming out loud. They let me out after 5 years on condition I went straight into the army, National service in the UK was still on the go then, They gave me a rail ticket, escorted me to the rail station and put me on atrain. I was informed that if I didnt report to the barracks a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I turned up at the barracks! National services was for two years, I was in the army, active service in many countries, plus a collection of jail time in the army jail of 6 months, which meant I did two and a half years army time! Hadnt learnt a lot had I ? No this is not a new thing and truth is no one has any answer, I certainly dont, I sorted myself out, eventually. Your comments calling thugs 'chicken livers' etc , will not make them think ' Oh dear, I had better give it all up ', it would anger them. It would be like the British army in Ireland sitting in their tanks shouting at the IRA "Come out here and fight like men, bring your pea shooters with you"!!! As I have said, I dont have an answer, but your summation is way out of order, I dont recall any fist fights, queensbury rules and all that! The object of the excersice was to get the feller on the deck and make sure he stayed there!! No one has the answer.
