Best holiday destination for a one-year old child?

My sister wants to take my nephew on holiday after his 1st birthday. She wants to go to some place like DisneyLand, Paris. Is he too young to be going there? I'm not sure as I've never been there but would love to go there too. Should we wait a couple of years? Thanks

  1. wait till he a few years older why not go somewhere in uk this year and some where like skegness where there plenty to do day and night for kids or cornwall if take him to disney land he wont remember it because he too young
  2. he is wayy to young he wont even remeber it. take him to disneyworld in fl or the zoo.
  3. disney in florida not paris
  4. we took our year old to disney world, orlando. the hotels are child friendly he seemed to have fun and we were as relaxed as parents can be while on vacation with a toddler. paris we did on our own.
  5. By all means, wait. The kid won't get it. Wait until he's about 4 years old. At one year old the best present is snuggling with Mommy with some cookies, or maybe a walk in a lovely garden and a picnic on a warm sunny day. I mean you can do it, but you'll just be wasting your money.
  6. He cannot enjoy Disney at that age. Not before the age of 3 and 4 is ideal for a first visit. We went as a family when my youngest was 1 1/2, she did not get anything out of it. They have no attention span at that age. Take him to a zoo or a farm with farm animals. That's what they like at that age. They also like the beach, but for a short time.
  7. 'East or West, home is best' certainly applies to a one year old.
