Finally Today

I am planning a vacation trip to Disneyland in Cali. I was looking for a cheap place to stay.?

There is 12 of us and we would like to get a place where there is a kitchen. I was looking in Anaheim and places are so expensive, what is a near town/city by Anaheim?

  1. HA HA cheap and Disney dont go together. Stay in a hotel away from Disneyland and then drive/ride the bus to Disneyland. Thats what I do. Its still expensive but not as bad.
  2. You've learned something about California, everything here is expensive. Cities near Anaheim are: Buena Park, Fullerton, Garden Grove, La Mirada, and Stanton. Buena Park also has several "touristy" attractions, and I would recommend something in that area. Lodging there is usually slightly cheaper than right next to Mouseland, but not by much. Maximum room occupancy is usually 4 so you would need at least 3 rooms to accommodate your party of 12, but you may be able to negotiate a group discount (all they can say is "No"). Major chain hotels such as Good Nite Inns and Roadway Inns have rooms advertised as starting in the $45-60 range however I'm certain the kitchenettes are more. Good luck on your search, and if your plans work out, have a great time here. One other thing. Please do not refer to California as "Cali". That is the name of a drug city in South America, and many of us Californians find that reference to our state insulting. We simply call our state "Cal".
  3. Try and fit as many people in one room as possible. For a group of that many, a suite is always good and will save you a ton of money. I would recommend checking out the website BookMe dot com. You can compare ALL the reputable travel ticket sites, and save money. Good luck!
