How do I attach newer electronics to an older television?

I have an older television that only has the component connection (one wire that screws in to the back). I want to attach two new electronics to it that have the RYW type of plugs. Buying a new television is not an option. What type of adaptor do I need to get? Is this difficult? Thanks.
