What are still some civil rights acts movements today?

I need to compare the important issues that were facing the nation, the struggles, the attitudes, and the goals in 1960 and compare that time period today. I have gay rights as one of my examples. Can you help me by giving some civil rights issues that we continue to face today. Thank you.
