Finally Today

Is Disneyland a good vacation for a three year old?

I haven't been to Disneyland since my senior year in 2000. I want to take my daughter there for her third birthday. She loves all the princesses and other characters. But I'm just worried that she won't enjoy it, Will it be too much for her? Are there going to be enough age appropriate things for her to do? I don't want to spend a ton of money for her to be bored or scared or something.

  1. A kid bored at Disneyland? IMPOSSIBLE! Go for it, she will have an absolute blast!
  2. yes i would say so i went when i was 4 or 5 and i had fun they mite not understand everything, but the characters and the colorful rides are entertaining for pretty much everyone id be careful about going on pirates or something like that though haha u mite scare the kid with those drops
  3. I took my son for a family vacation when he was 4 years old. He had the best time!!! He loved all of it! Rides and everything.
  4. i think you should wait till nxt yr or when she turns 5 that way she will remember it. I took my son when he turned 3 he had a blast but now he's 7 he cant remember he already went to disneyland :(
  5. Your daughter would love it. Take her on the teacups, she would love that too. Make sure you get the signatures of all Disney characters if possible. She will be glad to have it when she grows up. Once, again, she'll love it. Don't worry.
  6. She will love it let me tell you there is nothing like going with a three year old everything is so exciting and even if she doesn't remember when she gets older you will have those memories. I think out of all the ages that not only being with a three year old but seeing them and the look in there eye's at that age is so amazing . Here is the Disneyland site you can look at to see some of the things to do with her http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/experience/overview?name=LittleDreamersLandingPage I am not sure when her birthday is but the new celebrate today parade starts March 27th and from what I hear it should be exciting. Hope this helps and Enjoy
  7. i say wait till next year or 2. Dont you want her to remember it and have fun at the same time??? You get 2 in one. If she gets signatures, pics and souvenirs and in the future, whenever she sees it she will sigh because she wish she remembers how much fun it was. Either way she will have fun but at least she will remember the most fun she had on her bday. And trust me disneyland/disneyworld is a big deal when it comes to kids and you want them to cherish that memory. How can they cherish it if they dont remember being there? You will remember obviously but it would be nice if both of you can cherish that memory and not just by yourself. After all it is for her..
  8. It's a great place to take 3-year olds for vacation...especially on their birthday. You can have breakfast with the characters (plan it in advance) and a party as well, I believe. Just remember to allow her nap time and take her back for the fireworks displays at night. She will love the castle. There are lots of great hotel/condo deals that you can get inside the park that will allow you the benefits to use the parks transportation systems. The pools are great and plenty of activites that cater to the future leaders of our world. Just speak with a travel agent and plan the special events for her in advance. In addition, there are many rides for her to enjoy!!!
