Finally Today

If HIV AIDS was use as a Vaccint, can that cure the problem?Because I had heard that some people are Immune.?

I was just curious about the HIV AIDS immune people, they are AIDS free. I heard a case of a little boy who was born with HIV Postive. Later when he became HIV Neg., which mean he is immune to AIDs. He can have sex with people that carry AIDs and none carrier and it can not harm him. I know that people with AIDS in the USA, tend to live longer compare to the one in Africa. Maybe the foods and living style play a role in AIDs. plz, leave opinion...I just want to know what people are thinking?

  1. hiv is actually different then aids i know crazy right...hiv is a "gateway" to aids such as hypoglacemia is a gateway to diabetes you can have hiv and in some RARE cases it can actually reverse progress eracing itself if you have hiv and it leads to aids thats the problem
  2. You ask way too many questions at one time. Yes, some people's immune systems have effectively fought off HIV which leads me to also believe that there is treatment out there. But the question is, Can you afford it? Hey, Magic Johnson is healthier than some people who don't have AIDS.
  3. The little boy never had HIV or AIDS. Normally when someone is exposed to HIV, their body will fight it by producing antibodies, cells which fight infection. The HIV test only looks for these antibodies, not HIV/AIDS itself. Children are born with some of the antibodies their mothers have. So ALL children born to women who have HIV/AIDS will test positive for HIV. As they get older (usually around 6 months) their own immune system takes over, and they will test negative. But those children are not immune from AIDS. They have the same chance of being infected as anyone else. It's complicated, but again, the important point is the little boy *never had* AIDS or HIV. No one who has actually been infected has ever been "cured." Some people are *resistant* to being infected, but that's a whole different thing.
