How can I travel to and from Disneyland and Magic Moutain for vacation w/o a personal car or rental?

I would like to get to and from Disneyland and Magic Mountain with friends for a vacation. However, none of us have our license yet and we don't want anyone else to come with us. Are there efficient shuttle or bus systems we can use? How expensive and practical are taxis for this trip? We have found suitable hotels near each of the parks but just need to and from the two parks.

1. Helicopter, very fast, and efficient.
2. There is no efficient way to travel between the two locations except by car. Your only option as I see it is to take Metrolink from Orange County to Valencia or Santa Clarita and take a cab or find someone willing to drop you off at Magic Mountain Parkway, which is easy enough. Offer them 10 bucks, which is worth it if they are gong there and WAAY cheaper than a cab. http://www.metrolinktrains.com/ Your other option is to look for a "rideshare" on Craiglist Orange county or Craigslist San Fernando Valley, depending on where you are starting out. Taxis are a nightmare here in So Cal. Avoid them. Expensive ripoff and slow. Try your best to find a normal citizen who will give you a ride. If you are female, look for families with room in their car, not some pervert guy who says he can give you a ride to his house.

4. well from Disneyland you can take the OCTA harbor bus (line 43) to the Fullerton station then buy a ticket from the metrolink ticket machine to Newhall (or Santa Clarita (same price) take then Metrolink to Los Angeles , then you will transfer to another Metrolink train (Antelope valley) train take this train to newhall then you board Santa Clairta transit line 1 or 2 take these bus to the MC bean transit center and transfer again to SCT 3 or 7 which will take you to Magic mountain and your metrolink tickets are valid for the bus portion of your trip
5. Disneyland and Magic Mountain are about 60 miles from each other. Taking public transportation will be very time consuming because none of it is efficent. Taxis will be expensive. You should look into hiring a car service or even a limo if there is a large number of you.
6. Airports have Super Shuttle and Primetime Shuttle. So from Disneyland you can take a shuttle to LAX and then a shuttle to MM.
7. Where is your starting point? To reach Disneyland from Downtown LA just take a direct express MTA bus #460 cost abot $3 one way. To get to Magic Mountain take a Santa Clarita Transit bus #794, 799 or 747 to Valencia the a SCT #3 local bus cost about $4 one way. Good Luck!
