Finally Today

My female cat got fixed today when does she start to act normal?

My cat just got fixed today and she is allowed to eat now but she is just lying down and doesn't react no anything when will she be normal again? Please help!

1. Relax. Your cat just had surgery. She probably isn't feeling so hot right now. Leave her alone for the time being. She should start to bounce back in a day or two. If she doesn't start looking better by day 3, please contact the vet. Best of luck and great job getting your kitty spayed. :)
2. Yes she is fine, just let her relax in a bathroom where no-one can bother her for example. She is just a little dosed up lol. It takes a couple hours, my cat took about a day, than they were fine. Don't worry, its normal...I hope I helped :)
3. Your cat got her belly sliced open.......what do you expect? Give her a week or so before expecting her to run, jump, etc....her belly HURTS!! Did the vet give you any pain meds for her? If not, fix her a "hot water bottle" and put it beneath a thin towel for her to lay against. This will help ease the soreness. If she starts to lick, bite, chew on her stitches, get some Bitter Apple spray and spray the stitches AND all around that area. This stuff tastes terrible, and she won't like it, so will leave the incision site alone. Hope this helps.........Good luck. 4. Its all good. take a breather. surgery can be scary with cats as with humans as well Also think about it. If you were fixed how would you feel? Personally I wouldn't feel right in the head for a few days. Give her time and lots of love and she'll be back to normal.
