What place is better to take a vacation, Disneyland or Universal studios?

for a whole week vacation and I can't go to both...

  1. UNIVERSAL STUDIOS IS AMAZING! it has a lot more adult rides. Disneyland is for little children in strollers.
  2. Universal Studios because better scary rides, but Disneyland for more fun and more spotseeing.
  3. family= disneyland. for fun, thrilling rides= universal. They both have their pros and cons. Disneyland is gonna be filled with kids and characters. It's "magical" I guess.I think Universal might be bigger..? idk. But Universal has great rides. My favorite ride has been the Mummy. It's easier than the Hulk, but still fun. Go on their web pages and see what place you would find more fun.
  4. If your going with your family. I'd say Disneyland for sure. they have fireworks around 9:30. It really is magical.
  5. If you like movies and special effects than Universal Studio's is the way to go.. The only thing that sucks is that there us only like 4 rides..But they have a lot of good shows. Theres also the city walk a lot of good shops.. (the rides are more scary but not that bad.) But Disneyland has a lot of fun rides..and and a great firework show.. Than theres also downtown disney a lot of great shops too. (the only thing that sucks is that is so crowded!)if you want alot of rides go disneyland.( disneyland's california adventure has some scary rides if you like scary)
  6. yes you can do both. Disneyland can be done in 2 days if you desire to go on all the rides. Universal can be done in 6 hrs but i'm sure you got other stuff you want to see.
  7. Honestly, living in LA my whole life, Universal is kinda boring. After the first time, it's usually nothing special. But Disneyland is def. not only for kids. Every time you go, there's something special. I went on Christmas Eve about 2-3 years ago and it was really an amazing experience. Since your planning to go this week or next week I'm assuming, it'll be really awesome, since 4th of July's near. The only "fun" ride I think in Universal is the Mummy Ride. That's it. I went on the Simpsons, and it isn't much fun. There's also the tour bus thing where the shark jumps out of the water, not so thrilling after you've seen it once or twice, or the king kong or whatever. Disneyland's much more fun! And the hotels are amazing, they have the theme and all.. like I think Mickey's Playhouse or Mermaid's something. It's truly a unique experience.
  8. Disneyland hands down it has much more to do and you have Down Town Disney and California adventures next store. Also close by is Knots Berry farm.Look ito getting a 2 fer package with Disneyland and California Adventures for about the same as one admission.
  9. depends i had a relative work at disney and if u go on vacation with kids n family member go to Disney have more fun for everyone but if its just u and a couple of friends or adult family members then universal would be for u more extreme rides but either one u go to bring not alot of money but plenty for food beverages etc.
