Ideas for fun in Orlando besides theme parks?
Of course we will be visiting Disney, Universal and Sea World. Any other ideas for 2 adults to have fun in the Orlando area? We will be there for about 10 days.

- Silver Springs Nature Park is well worth a visit. It is a relaxing change from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. Silver Springs is located just off Highway 27. Travel north up Highway 27 and when you get near Ocala you will see the signs. Check it out on the web.
- You do not say what types of things you enjoy doing; so it isn't easy to answer because there is so much to do in this area. Here are a few ideas and links for you to explore a bit: You could drive an hour and spend a day at the beach; or even spend one night over on the coast. Canaveral National Seashore, Cocoa Beach, and Satellite Beach are within a one hour drive from Orlando. - When I was in Orlando, I personally enjoyed going to the Zoo in Sanford and the Zoo in Melbourne. In Melbourne, they have a great facility, and you can even go canoing near the giraffe exhibit! I liked going to the beach. I also enjoyed going to local bars, and places like that. I like Tatame in Winter Park. I like the Blue Martini downtown. Park Avenue is a cute place to walk around, lots of boutiques and GREAT restaurants like Dexter's and many many more. Downtown Orlando also has the quaint feel that Park Avenue (downtown Winter Park) has. Devany's is a favorite local bar of mine, that I am always sure to visit when in town. I like going outside of town, to like Tampa, maybe try the zoo there. I hear it's been improved since I last went. It all depends on what you like to do really!
