10 Reasons why the End Times are clearly upon us. Do you agree?
Clearly things are getting worse all around us and the day of Judgement is at hand. Are you ready to answer to Jesus? Here's 10 reasons why this is so 1/ Natural disasters are occuring with more frequency. Are things really getting worse? The Bible doesn't mention a single hurricane in the gulf coast or a single tsunami in the far east back then yet they happen almost every week nowadays. 2/ Disease is on the rise. AIDS is everywhere and it has probably killed more people than anything ever. AIDS is proof that Jesus is coming back soon. He will probably bring with him all those diseases we have eradicated over the years to teach us a lesson about trying to slow down the end times. 3/ There are more wars now than ever. Just look around you! I count *at least* two. Afghanistan and Iraq are just the start. And what about the wars that the government is not telling you about? There may have been wars and death all the time in biblical times but these were mostly started by God so they don't count. 4/ The Bible says Men will be lovers of themselves. That's so true in these last days. There are gays everywhere. Even on TV now. Our enlightened tolerence of people who are born with different sexual persuassions is proof that some of us are deserving of destruction. Homosexuality was a word coined in the 19th century so we didn't even have gay people before then 5/ In the end days there will be many disbelievers in the Lord and the church will splinter into factions. How true is that! This has never happended before and is unique to the age we live in. There are so few believers nowadays - only about 30% of the world (2 billion people). Surely there were more Christians than this before Jesus' time? 6/ The financial crisis is proof that Jesus' return is imminent. We are living in "chaotic times" and I predict that within 18 months most of us will be dead due to the recession. 7/ Children are more disrespectful of their parents than ever before. I mean, I'm sure they probably are because I have only been a kid once and only have that to compare to. Greek scholars wrote of similar problems before even Christ was born but what do they know - they weren't favoured by God! 8/ You hear about our society crumbling all the time on the internet. In fact these reports have exponentially increased in volume on the net over the past 20 years. Before that I don't remember seeing this anywhere on the web. 9/ In these modern times men are filled with greed, selfishness and hatred for one another. Just like the Bible says we would be in the End Times. In Jesus time eveyone was different. Apart from the Jews and the Romans who crucified Him. And before that the Moabites, Ammonites, Philistines and Canaanites. 10/ If Jesus doesn't come back in my lifetime I was be really disappointed. Wanting something to be true is *almost* the same as proving it to be true. Anyone agree? Anyone else noticed that the signs are all there? Jordan B - honestly. I'm ashamed you spent so much time actually addressing my "points". Perhaps I need to be less subtle in future (if indeed there is a future for any of us....)?

- I especially agree with #8. 20 years ago I saw NOTHING like this on the web 20 years ago was even before Windows. I just remember opening up DOS and typing "/web" and then "/WEBDAMMIT" and getting nothing :(
- These 10 things have been true since Jesus ascended into Heaven.
- 1. Science easily explains this. The world goes through cycles where natural disasters, like hurricanes, are more likely to happen due to the gravitational pull and all this other stuff I don't really understand, but it's there for you to read if you bother looking it up. 2. What about the plague? What about the flu outbreak of the 1800s? Those were much worse and much more widespread, and the world wasn't ending then. Why would it now? 3. There have always been countless wars going on in Africa. And, also, in the 1630s, over a dozen countries started revolutions, and that was during the Thirty Years War. That's more than now too. 4. Homosexuality has been around since the Greco-Roman era. In fact, there's even a species of goat that practices homosexuality every day of the year, save for mating season, where they go straight to reproduce only. It's a natural thing and has been going on, albeit under wraps, since the beginning of humanity. 5. There were less during the Age of Reason. While we still have a huge 'Bible Belt' threatening the lives of everyone else in the world, I don't think we're in trouble. 6. The Great Depression affected the entire world. Have you heard of anything in history at all? 7. I can't argue this one, but then again, no one really can. This is a very hard thing to study. 8. Exponentially increased over the net in the past 20 years? Interesting, considering the number of websites in general have increased exponentially over the net in the past 20 years. 1988 was not very far into internet history. Check your facts, buddy. 9. Men have always been filled with greed, selfishness, and hatred. In Jesus' time everyone was most certainly NOT different. It is man's nature to act like an animal. This is always been true and and will always be true. 10. You want the world to end? That sounds like a psychological problem, not a problem the world has. And that is pretty much the worst argument I've ever heard. Every philosopher will tell you otherwise. Find something else to occupy your time. Life is beautiful, go and experience it. Stop praying that it will end.
- i think you looking for somehting thats not gunna happen, none of these are signs, Aids is bad, but not that bad, the black plauge and the 1918 pandamic flew where worse than they and id like you to prove that natural disasters are at a greater rate tthan ever (by the way im including time prior to the creatioon of a weather service were nobody could tr and predict them
- Yes, I agree. Now we watch for the temple to be re-built. These are exciting times we're living in and this is the last generation. The A & E channel recently had a special about the lost tribes. Very exciting information! And one of the prophesies about the end times is that the lost tribes will begin to assemble in Israel - that's happening as we speak. We live in exciting times and serve an AWESOME God! D1
- I agree with all 10 of them.
- I just love this bit, classic. "Surely there were more Christians than this before Jesus' time?" People obviously are too lazy to read your question properly and see the irony.
- 1) Natural disaters only seem to happen more often because with the media you hear about it sooner 2) AIDS was alway around, its just that we only knew about it in the last few decades 3) And the war on Iraq wasnt started by God?? 4) "The Bible says Men will be lovers of themselves" Hmm I though that implied mastrubation and not homosexually 5) I'm not even going to address this point based on how strupid it is 6) Harden the fuck up, just be glad you didnt live in the great depression 7) Fair enough although I have a feeling when I get old I will be saying the same thing 8) See point number 5 9) Yes lots of love back in Jesus times 10) Ok this is probably satire but here is my answers anyway
- Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Transgression has almost reached its limit. Confusion fills the world, and a great terror is soon to come upon human beings. The end is very near. We who know the truth should be preparing for what is soon to break upon the world as an overwhelming surprise. John writes: "And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works." Revelation 20:11, 12. Are we as a people asleep? Oh, if the young men and young women in our institutions who are now unready for the Lord's appearing, unfitted to become members of the Lord's family, could only discern the signs of the times, what a change would be seen in them! The Lord Jesus is calling for self-denying workers to follow in His footsteps, to walk and work for Him, to lift the cross, and to follow where He leads the way.
- !908 the 10 points were just as relevant as what you are stating for today. So why did the end times not occur in 1910?
