Christians; How is getting a sex change any more of a sin than getting hearing-aids?

I mean hearing aids are man-made. God wanted hearing impaired people to be hearing impaired so why is it ok to get hearing aids or cochlea implants? And then you say god intended me to be a man, so that's why i shouldn't get a sex change. One thing they don't teach in church is logic.

A sex change is for physiological peace and need, many people have suicide because of not being able to get that peace, a better example would be: Isn't it a sin to take pills for it because it's man made and God gave me ADHD? Isn't it a sin to take pills because it's man made and God made me overly depressive? Christians: What if you had a child who was transgendered and threatened suicide if he/she didn't get a sex change....?

First of all, IJR is not against Sex changes, but: A hearing AID is an AID TO HEARING, it is not changing anything, it merely AIDS and attempts to improve hearing. Most are not implanted, and can be changed. A sex change is a surgical proceedure that actually physically and mentally changes a person. Different as night and day. The argument you present is like comparing Apples and Oranges, and, frankly, is not valid.

Why are you comparing the weight of different sins? How do you know that God wanted people who are hearing impaired to be that way? If you really don't know why it would be okay to get hearing aids or implants, then you have a little bit of growing up to do still. Who said God intended you to be a man? Are you a woman? There's nothing wrong with having surgery to correct an anatomical problem, no matter what it entails.
God does not cause people to be deaf. Try telling your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband you are going to the doctor to get a hearing aid and come back with a sex change. You will find out the difference real fast.

People lose their hearing over time just like people lose their teeth. its not like God just decided "oh, time for me to make you deaf." but God created you as a Man. You have a Penis. You have XY chromosomes. You're a dude. Thats just how it is.

Hearing impaired people actually have a medical reason for needing hearing aids. Your need for female genitalia isn't a medical ailment. I'm sure people in the Bible walked with walking sticks when they had back aches, or bad knees. And that surely wasn't a sin. Hearing aids are the same idea, a way to help the body function better. The only difference in the technology.
If this is because you have a birth defect and not a joke then I am sorry that you have a problem. Not everyone is born with legs that work or eyes that see or ears that hear. This is a temporary life though and very short. It does not seem short when you are young but when you get older like myself it seems like just yesterday I was playing baseball with my friends and today I have arthritis and cannot run. Living with pain or physical problems is hard. But God can make it possible to accept anything in this life because we have hope in the next life of being whole like Christ Jesus is whole.
